Exporting to Front page or Netobjects Fusion

B

Ben

I've created a website using pub2003. Is it possible to
export some of the pages to another package like front
page or Netobjects fusion so that i can add more features
which are not supported by Publisher. If so will I have to
upload them separately.

Thank you

"Exporting" into another product is the incorrect term. When you create a
web site Publisher is giving you html files.

So you would be "importing" the html files into the other product from
within the other product. In FrontPage that is File, Import.

I don't recommend the practice of using Pub made html files in a web design
tool. The code that Pub writes is so complex and so very different from the
coding standards of web design apps that the results are likely to be
largely unsatisfactory.

Using multiple tools will be time-consuming and frustrating from a site
management perspective. It's best to find the tool that meets all your needs
now and provides for growth, and concentrate on learning that tool.

btw, I am currently looking for real-world use Pub 2003 web sites for
testing. If possible please send your .pub file to
(e-mail address removed) and include a URL if it's published.
