I am trying to export a MS Access database into a paradox
database for a Video Commander system (A system used for
video/dvd viewing in schools in Australia).
Basically I am trying to import a list of video titles
in .mdb format into the .db format of paradox, but
whenever I export it it doesn't work.
There are currently about 3 entries in the paradox
version, and about 5000 in the access, so naturally I
want the access file to covert to paradox and overwrite
the current file, thus allowing my system access to all
the titles on offer.
Could someone please tell me the steps I might need to go
through, ie: Do I need matching columns (must the new
access match the old paradox exactly), and how can I
ensure the program will accept the new file?
Thanks in advance
