Exporting Windows calendar to Office Outlook

I would like to export my windows calendar to outlook on another computer
that is on Windows 7 which has no windows calendar. I tried the import/export
function but it did not do a complete job, somewhat only partially. What am I
doing incorrectly?

In what format did you export it? What's missing? What version of Outlook?
