Express Address Book within Outlook

Background:
Windows XP Home (5.1.2600),
Outlook 2000 (9.0.0.2711)
Address Book (6.00.260000 (xpclient.010817-1148)

Breifly: I had Express loaded correctly; working.
I loaded Outlook overtop correctly; working.

When I clicked on the Address button on the Outlook
toolbar, I would get the Outlook Express Address book.

I have had a hard drive failure, switched machines, used
Express breifely, switched to Mozilla Thunderbird
(because I couldn't find my install disk for Outlook),
loaded Outlook today, imorted/restored my old data (mail,
rules, alerts, address book; working) and when I clicked
on the Address Button on the Outlook toolbar, I was
surprised to see a different address book (typical
Outlook Contacts list - so my husband tells me).

After poking around, I found (Start, Programs,
Accessories, Address Book) the address book I am used
to. It was the Outlook Express Address book, and, after
importing my data, it looks just the way I am accustomed
to it looking.

My question: after fiddling around with Outlook, HOW do I
get the Address Book button on the tool bar to call the
Outlook Express Address Book?

It used to do that...

Reason for remedy: I'm a picky, stay at home mom who
figures it worked that way before, it ought to do it
again.

Your question cannot be answered because you did not provide your mail
support mode.
Outlook will never display the contents of the Windows Address Book.
However, Internet Mail Only mode uses the Windows Address Book engine to
display your Outlook Contacts Folder, so it will look like the Windows
Address Book. Corp/Workgroup mode used the Outlook Address Book to display
your Contacts.

(workgroup) setting this time.
Now, how do I switch it to Internet Only?
re-install? -I remember that question on the initial
install.
