I have 3 expressions in a form, I get them to work fine but if I close the
database and reopen it they do not owrk, if I export that data base to
another PC they do not work Why? Why? why?.
Did I touch some preset that it open is a different way?

What expressions, in what context?

In what way do they "not work"? Erroneous result, blank result, smoke comes
out the back of your PC?

They are simple expressions calculating the elapse time and then comparing a
scheduled time to actual travel time. When I reopened database and the form I
got #name?. The weird thing is that all I had to do add a text box unbound
just enter anything in that box and the expressions worked. I finally did
that and closed the database without saving anything and it worked but, will
it stop working?

Since you have chosen not to explain the expressions, where you put them, what
the textbox has to do with it, what the form's Recordsource might be, all I
can say is... I have no idea and I wish you good luck.
