Extend OneNote with a macro or add-in?

I would like to use OneNote as an editor to prepare scientific papers in LaTeX.
For this I would need to copy the plain text from several pages and join
them as sections in a text file. Then I need to call an external program to
typeset the text document.

It would be a simple macro to write, but unlike in other Office programs I
see no macros or VBA in OneNote! Any chance to get an option to integrate it?
If not, then is it possible to write an add-in for OneNote?

Interesting program. It could work by cycling through the pages and copying
via clipboard. I'll just have to mark the initial position somehow (to return
to it) and do some parsing of each page to get the title and to detect the
end of the document.
Thanks!

Still, if anyone knows about any API to get data from OneNote (so far I've
only found some API to import to OneNote), please let me know!
