When I edit tables in visio, it often creates a temp
table, moves data from orig table to temp table, drops
orig table, then creates a new table with the new
attributes, then it moves the data from the temp table to
the permanent table and drops the temp table. BUT, if I
have used the extended properties in the table in SQL
(this is where we store our data dictionary), these
extended properties are lost with the dropping of the
original table.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Sherry
