I have designed a new olap cube in sql2000 and PS2003 that uses the fact
table MSP_VIEW_PROJ_PROJECTS_ENT, and the data source table
MSP_CUBE_PROJECTS. All works well and I am getting the results I expect in
the portfolio analyzer views.
However I now have to recreate this using PS2003 and SQL2005 but cannot set
up a cube that displays correct data. I have added the VIEW table into the
OLAP DS data source view, and linked it to the MSP_CUBE_PROJECTS table, but
now when I build I have the sum of each of the number/cost fields being
displayed alongside each project rather than that 1 projects values
Will this approach work? If so any thoughts/comments?
