Extending the OLAP Cube (short question)

If we extend the OLAP cube in MSPS '03, does that extension migrate over to
MSPS '07?

I've heard the answer to that is no. Only data is migrated. If any tables
were customized, that is lost too. Enterprise custom fields and their data
are migrated. The good news is that in 2007 there's more that's already in
the cube(s), and it's easy to add additional fields.

Hi Randy,

I am not a developer and did not need to do an upgrade, but I dont think
that the custom developed part in 2003 will work in 2007. The reason for this
is because of the PSI ( Project Server Interface) which is a new web service
in 2007 you will have to use, but I would suggest asking this question in the
developer section
