extending tolerance for grids in Word 2003

Paul

Iwould like to be able to use 1/8" grid but when I enter .125 Word changes it
to .13 which throws my drawing off. Can I get Word to accept a grid spacing
with three decimal places and how do I do it?

Sometimes Word is just plain daft!

It will only display (and accept) two decimal places but it can cope with a
1/8" grid quite easily. Go to Tools > Options > General tab and change your
measurement units to Points. Then go and set your grid to 9 points. Then go
back and change your measurement units to Inches. The grid will now claim to
be 0.13" but will actually be 0.125" (providing you change nothing else in
the dialog!).

Tony,
Thank you so much. I made the changes and set it as my default.
Now my templates print in perfect proportion and size.
I rate your help 5 stars.
