External access to server

Yesterday I was trying to connect to my Project server from my home. I set up
connection, test connection passed, but it showed me error (5001) "Microsoft
Project was unable to log you on at this time because the Microsoft Project
Server database cannot be accessed. Please try again later or check with your
Microsoft Project Server administrator." But I used the same login and
password witch work in internal network. What do I have to do?

Filip -

When Project Server authenticates you, it checks your domain. I
suspect your organization has rules that state that people can't log in
to certain servers (and I would include SQL and most likely Project
Server in that category) unless you use some kind of authenticated
system, such as a Safe Token or a VPN.

You will need to check with your network people on this.
