external attachment

Hi,

I need a functionality similar to the Attachment control, BUT without
including the attachment into the XML file (i.e. like the Image control). I
need the attachment to stay in its original location. I'm gonna refer to
different files (Word DOCs, PDFs, ...) from multiple forms simultaneously.

I can't use the Hyperlink control since it can't be edited by the user
filling out a form.

Does anyone know of a user control capable of this?
