External links between sub-projects

We have 25 sub-projects in our department. Each project plan is managed by a
different project manager. The plans are linked through external links.
When one changes a linked task, the affected plan’s manager has to accept the
changes through the dialog box when he opens his plan.

Is there any way one person can view all outstanding external link changes
that have not been confirmed yet? For example, we could have 12 different
changes that have not been confirmed because some of the project managers may
not have accepted the changes. Is there any way someone with admin rights
can see which are open either through a master project plan or using PWA?

Yes, the admin person can navigate to the Project Center page in PWA, select
the row headers for each of the 25 subprojects, and then click the Open
button. The system will launch Microsoft Project Professional and create a
temporary master project consisting of all 25 subprojects. Hope this helps.

Dale's approach will enable you to accept changes on behalf of your
PM's but will not highlight conflicts which have not been accepted.
Master projects essentially hide conflict which is flagged by the link
between projects dialogue. A SQL query is probably the best approach
to checking dates on linked tasks.
