Is it possible to start a powerpoint presentation (F5) by an external
trigger?
Reason: 10PC's with 10 different presentations are projected on a
screen of 30 meter long by beamers placed one next to another . The
presentations must start at the same time because images from one PC are
going over to one next to him.

Either use 10 people..... or get use those magic boxes that go under the
name of KVM

k-eyboard
v-ideo
m-ouse

they basically allow you to control several computers with 1 keyboard /
mouse

Or you could perhaps do it with some kind of long mouse cable and a cobbled
together y-split cable....not pretty.

I've just found this one
http://www.arune.se/~arune/km-switch/

it's KVM without the video
