Extra data for appointments

I want to add extra data onto appointments so I have created a second page
with the majority of what I need, however I can't find a way of adding
extra free text. Any fields I add (including a user defined text field)
will only allow me to add single lines of text - and I want multiple lines.
Ideally I'd like a second description field (like on the main form) but I
can't find how to add such a thing. Can it be done simply?

you need a text box control - right click on it and choose properties -
multi-line is one of the options on the properties dialog.
