Extra info for a Split task

I'm exporting a project plan to MS Excel and I want to view the dates for a
task that have been split.
I can export the Start an Finish fields but I need to export the date when
the task is suspended as well as the date when it's resumed.

I've tried in Project Pro 2003 and 2007 with no luck

M_Arizaga,

I don't think there is a date associated with the split. A split doesn't
stop the task it stops the assignment (the work being done on the task). In
the Task Usage or Resource Usage view the split will appear as '0' work. So
you have something like '8', '8', '8', '0', '0', '8', '8'.

However, I think you could use the "Date" fields and enter the dates
manually (when you create the split) and then export on those fields when you
need to.

Jim,

I am confused; my understanding of the Stop and Resume fields is that they
are progress driven. Once the task is completed wouldn't the Stop and Resume
dates be the same as the task’s finish date and not the points where the
split occurs?

Jim,
Your tip worked but it was not what i was looking.

When I use the [Stop] and [Resume] fields, Project updates the [% complete]
field and when i put it back to 0%, the task is no longer split.

I need to be able to export the split dates to excel (as well as import
from) and for more than just one split.

So please, if you know how to access those values I will appreciate your
help. Or if you know for sure that those values can't be viewed, that will
help me a lot.

Thanks in advance for your help
