extra lines outlook 2007

Outlook 2007 is putting extra lines in my messages when viewed by others.
The problem seems to be with the class=Mso formatting. When I view the
source of a message the extra lines appear in the "Design" mode on my Front
Page editor, when i remove the class="MsoPlainText" the lines are gone.
I've already changed my Word 97 to saving documents as Word 93 format. That
doesn't help. I've changed from plain text to rich and HTML. Nothing
affects the extra lines unless I remove the Mso class.

I write many multiple paragraph mails and the messages must go out as I send
them.

are they using a browser to read mail? it's a common problem with some web
based mail systems. see http://www.slipstick.com/problems/dblspace_html.htm

Hi Bud,

Are you creating the message in OL, or FP? You mention both. What are
the "others" using as mail clients?

If you're using FP, then you should be sure ALL the "others" are using
ONLY MS products. Word (the editor in OL) also creates horribly bloated
code that other mail clients trip up over.

If you want an email client that you can edit the HTML code, you could
try Mozilla Thunderbird:
http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/
Thunderbird creates very clean HTML and the HTML editor (if even needed)
could be used to alter any code you didn't want.
