Hello,
I have had this odd behaviour with my Entourage 2004 (on 2005 12" PB
1,5GHz w/ 1,25Mb memory running on 10.4.2): Every time I send out
messages that have umlaut characters such as äöÄÖ (there is no way
around this since I am a Finn), Entourage adds blank space before or
after umlauted letters (could be with other special characters as
well).
Example:
Original subject:
Spam-filtterin säätäminen tiukemmalle
Subject after going through a mailing list (thats why the prefix
[Rankat]):
[Rankat] Spam-filtterin s ää t ä minen tiukemmalle
It seems that this happens only to messages that I create since if the
subject already has umlauted characters and I just reply to them this
does not happen. This has probably everything to do with differences in
how Mac and Win systems handle other than basic 7bit ASCII
charachters, because about 99,9% of people around here use Windows.
Is there a way to fix this?
And yes, I do have the latest update (11.1.1) of MacOffice.
