Hi there,
I have a rather large and detailed Table of Contents that I need to add an
extra tab stop to. The reason is:
I have Levels 1-4 headings showing. Some of the level 4 headings have some
extra "reference numbers" as well as their page numbers. I've put the
reference numbers into the headings themselves using tab stops - and they
look great.
But, when I updated the table of contents, it broke the formatting. How do
I get the table of contents to remember to 'tab' over twice and not just the
once when I update it? Currently it's just doing the one pre-made 'tab' and
then stopping. Therefore leaving me with page numbers in the wrong spots,
and reference numbers bumped up against the text etc.
Sorry, its a little hard to explain (without a visual), but I appreciate any
help you can give me.
