Extract data from web page to specific cells in excel 2003

I am trying to extract data from a web page created with exceleverywhere to
a local spreadsheet on my PC. Basically, the web page is an exact copy of
the spreadsheet on my local drive. The page performs all calculations and I
simply want to have my local spreadsheet update with this info when I open
it. I have tried to use the web query in excel 2003, but it only allows me
to import entire tables, I only need the data from specific cells. Further,
when I do the web query for the table with the data, it only imports some of
the cells, it does not retrieve the data that was manually entered on the
web page.

Any solutions, not sure where to go next...

Thanks in advance

place the cursor a the pint were you want the data to be inserted. (Note
more data is often extraccted so I put this on a new sheet).

Select DATA->IMPORT EXTERNAL DATA -> NEW WEB QUERY
Paste the URL into the address bar and click "GO". The webpage should
appear with various blocks with a black arrow on yellow background.
Select the dat you want and click "Import"

T usually have to manipulate the imported data further to convert text
to value or strip off extra characters

I hope this helps
