Extract graphics from .doc

In Word98, in order to work more easily with a very large document, I
can separate text from graphics by deleting all graphics (using ^g and
search/replace), and save the text as a separate doc file.

Is there a way that I can then extract all the graphics from the same
large document and save them as a separate file?

Hi Tony,

I'm not sure if Word98 supports this, but save as HTML will work, saving all
the graphics to separate files. Other than that, in Win you can copy a
graphic and save to the desktop (depending on OS configuration) and from
there to a file. Again, not sure if this works on Macs.

Cheers

HTML did work indeed, thank you so much.
