Extract photos from file

I am not a knowledgeable PowerPoint user and I use it for little more
than to view slide shows sent to me via email. I was sent such a file by a
friend (who I'm sure was just passing it on) and I wish to extract the
individual photos/pictures from the presentation file. How do I do that?
Thank you for your help. Otto

Otto,
Open you PPT presentation. Choose File - Save as - in the save as list click
on the arrow and choose web page, click on Save. PPT will make a folder with
all your ppt slides, backgrounds, pictures, music as individual files.

Just use the save as a web page option, and PowerPoint will save all you images
as individual .jpg files calling them slide1_image001, slide2_image001 etc.

Hi Otto,

as Luc wrote, additionally: If you only need one photo, right click on it
and choose "Save as image" from the context menu.

Kind regards,
Ute
