Extract Unique Records

Is there an way to extract unique records from my table? I
seemed to have done it with the summation symbol but on my
next attempt it doesn't seem to work.

In design view, right-click the upper pane and choose properties. Depending
on your intent, you want to set either Unique Values (more likely) or Unique
Records to yes.
