I have a client who uses Access 2003 to work with data in a SQL Server. One
field is the SQL Server equivilent of the Access OLE field, where they store
documents. Mostly PDFs but probably some DOCs and XLSs.
Now they want to abandon this practice, extract these files to folders and store
only the path to the newly extracted files. They used to have some code around
to do this, so they say, but can't find it anymore.
Can this be done in VBA code? Does the fact that it's Access to SQL Server
make a difference?
