Extracting Embeded Fonts

Mark

Soemhow in reformatting an old computer, copying files and
settings to the new computer, and getting the new computer
ready to work, I have lost a font.

Now I do have a Word document where this font is embedded,
and being the way I am, I embedded the full font.

But, is there any way I can extract that font from the
Doc, so I can install it and thus use it elsewhere?

If you don't get an answer here, you might try
microsoft.public.word.printingfonts. But you might also try to figure out
which application the font came with and then find it on the installations
disks/CDs for that app.

Yeah, reinstalation was my first thought too.
Unfortunately, the cd that I thought it was on seems to
have come up missing.
Which is why I'm trying to extract it from the Doc.
