Extracting Fixed List selection from custom properties in Visio

I am using a fixed list type in a Visio Shape Custom Property. When I pull
the Cell formula, it has INDEX(#,prop.row.format) in a string.

What do I have to do to actually retrieve that INDEX string?

If you are asking what the Index function evaluates to in your case, get the
ResultStr property of the cell instead of the Formula.
