Extracting information

I have data from Alpha 4 (DOS Database). I have already
exported the data and the following is an example of what
I would like to do:

We currently bill our customer after every service we
provide. I would like to find out how many of our
customers are receiving 2 or more bills in the same
month. I have the data for customer and dates that the
bill was created, I have no clue how to have Excel
extract this information.

Jill,

You could summarise your data in a pivot table, then group it by months and
years. So you would get months across the top, customers down the side and #
of bills per month in the middle.
