Extracting text and formatting from a protected template

E

emailus

I have a protected template, but want to change some of the seemingly
non-changeable protected areas.

Is there any way that I can save the document as a normal unprotected
Word document, or some way of extracting both text and formatting,
rather than recreate the whole document? Closest I can come so far is
printing to pdf, and then copying and pasting from the pdf via Preview.
But the formatting isn't retained.

Thanks

Look up "Remove protection from a form containing form fields" in the Word
Help.
