If there is something in common that separates the first
and last names on the list, then you can do a delimited
text to columns. Highlight the column you'd like to
split, choose the delimited method and then indicate what
character applies to your situation. If it's one that's
not on the list you can type it in or shortcut key it in
from the microsoft character map. Just be sure that
you've made space to the right of that column for the
other data to go so that it doesn't overwrite what was
