Extreme Programming and MS Project 2003

Anyone out there working project plans for Extreme
Programming (XP), Agile Devlopment, Scrum, etc. in MS
project 2003?

I have a client group who wants to get their own tool and
bypass MS Project and Project Server due to the 'heavy'
nature of MS Project 2003. I know little about the
methods, but it seems from what I read that MS Project
coudl cover most of what they do...

Suggestions?
