Extremely Slow Calculation

I am using Access 2000 to track my inventory all machines on my peer to peer
network are running XP Pro. I have created a form that has part number and
pricing. I then created a sub form that tracks the transaction history with
invoice number price paid and the customers name that purchased it along with
other fields. This form works great. I have over 7000 part numbers in the
data base and it may only take .5 seconds to pull up the part number with 6
years of history attached to it.

I then created a form that I can pull up the customer with and created a sub
form that attaches all of that customers historical purchases. If I am using
the machine that we call our server, (all of the other machines look to this
one for the data) to pull up customer history is almost instant. If I use
any other machine on the network to try and pull up the customer history it
can take in excess of 5 minutes to pull up the form. I do not know what I
did differently or wrong that has created this problem. I do not know why I
can pull up the part number with any machine instantly (Including all
historical transactions by part number) but not the customer history.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
