Extremely Slow Opening of Forms

Hi, thanks for the knowledge.

I have a database running in Access 2000, usual FrontEnd/Backend (linked
tables) scenario. For some reason, when opening it on an XP/Office XP PC,
the forms take *forever* to open. Checked References, compiled.

Any ideas?
