I need this hotkey to edit the current cell, so you do not need to doubleclick the cell.

In Excel 2003 on Windows it was F2, but in Mac it does not work...
What is the hotkey here?

Thanks!

If you check XL Help ("Excel keyboard shortcuts"), you'll find that the
equivalent shortcut is CTRL-u (along with lots of others).

Note that unlike WinXL, you can assign custom shortcuts to most other
commands (though this isn't one of them).

John gave you the shortcut, but keep in mind that you don't have to edit in
a cell, you can also edit in the Formula Bar.

Thank you very much! I just like using the mouse as little as possible, so this helps! Thanks
