F4

I'm relatively new to the Mac and am getting used to the new function keys. When I was in Excel on my PC, I could use F4 to repeat the last function I'd applied to a previous cell (for instance, if I filled a cell with color, I could go to the next cell, hit F4, and that cell would be filled with the same color.)

I've tried assigning this function in my keyboard shortcuts, but can't find anything that relates to "repeat last move".

Please help! This was one of my favorite functions, and now it's gone!

Try control-y

Yes, I saw that from other posts on here and have tried that but it doesn't work. I also saw the post for F2 (editing text within a cell = control+u) and that does work, so I'm not sure why the control+y isn't working for F4.

Did I say Control-Y/ I really meant Apple-Y. Apple-Y repeats the last
command.
