F9 Effects Text Formatting

Hello,

I have a number of task names that have been formatted. For example the
font is increased, and the text is underlined and bolded.

When a press F9 (calculate) the text formatting is lost. But it does not
happen consistently, or to the same line, it is very random. I have the
calculate function set to manual due to the large size of the project
schedule, 4,000 plus lines.

Does anyone know why the formatting would be effected by F9?

Individual task formatting is usually a waste of time. To trouble shoot this
I'd try some of the following:
1) Turn on auto calculation and see if the changes you make stick. 4000
tasks is not so large that you need to turn off autocalc unless you have a
really slow machine.
2) Try a different file of similar size. Are you getting the same results?
3) Create a new view and see if there is the same behavior.
