facing error in project web access

Hi,

My team member is opening the project web access he is facing this error

"
The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: <http://epm/projectserver>

The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name for epm

The dnsserver returned:

Name Error: The domain name does not exist.

This means that:

The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.

Check if the address is correct.

Your cache administrator is (e-mail address removed)
<mailto:[email protected]>.

Generated Wed, 28 Sep 2005 12:02:59 GMT by INFINILOGIC (squid/2.5.STABLE5)



pls tell me what is the problem.

Hi Michael,

Check the network card configuration to make sure that there are proper
DNS entries. You can also test if there is DNS resolution to the EPM
server by doing the following:

Click on Start --> Run
Type the following and click OK:
\\EPM

If you get an error that it cannot access, then the problem is DNS. If
you get a window with a listing of shared folders on the EPM server,
then check the Internet Explorer connection settings:

Click on Start --> Settings --> Control Panel,
Double click on Internet Options,
From Internet Properties, click on Connections tab,
Click on LAN Settings.
Make sure that settings correspond to your network settings
