Failed Office 2000 Update

I tried to update the MS Office 2000-SR1 Update from the
MS Office web page, and fter nearly 2 hours of carefully
nursing my ISP's disconnect prompts through this
download, I got the message that it did not complete
successfully. I have tried several times since then (by
both "saving it" and "opening it") with the same result,
tht refers me to a log file.
I hve tries to contact MS online and this is the nearest
that I can access any help.
I am totally frustrated with this "service" (???), and
now will have to wait until their office is open (when I
will also be at work) to try and get this support, unless
anyone knows another way.

Contact MS for SP on cd, there may be a carriage charge

I'VE TRIED FOR HOURS TO CONTACT MS TO ORDER SP-1 ON CD.
CAN'T FIND THEM...
DO I NEED TO PAY THEM TO ASK HOW I CAN REQUEST IT??
