Failed to Connect to Project Server

Background to the error message:, documents loaded onto the shared area via
the normal upload documents. When I go to open a document from any sharepoint
site I encounter this:-

"The server running windows sharepoint services failed to connect to Project
Server. Your changes will not be saved into the Project Server Database".

I'm unsure of what steps I need to take to correct this, so if anyone has
any pointers, I have gone through previous posts but can not find an answer
to this?

Hi Suzzane,
At this point you need to ensure successfull communication between PS and
WSS using the following steps

1- Open PWA
2- Click on Admin Tab
3- Click on "Manage windows Sharepoint Services
4- make sure that all information on this page are correct
5- click on save changes

if there is no errors you should receive "Success" message
if there is a communication error an error message will show up and from
this point we can start in depth diagnostics.
