Failed to connect to the Analysis Services server.....

Hello

Whenever I try to create view for data analysis, I am getting following
error

" Failed to connect to the Analysis Services server. Verify the server name
and try again."

I tried this on server as well as on client machine also. I am using PS 2007
and Sql 2000 and Analysis services.

My portal can be access for different location also, So I want they should
also be able to see data views reports.

Please let me know whats wrong I am doing?

JUst for information, I am able to build cube without any error.

I believe this has to do with the component services running on the server.
Go into component services, and look for MS analysis service, and check the
rights this is running under. It seemed to change on me a couple of times.

I checked this services running using "Local Account". I tested with
adminstrator with also. But no Luck.

Hello

I found the problem. I tested it another machine, at the time of creating of
new view, it ask for download owx(office web component), once it downlods on
that machine I am able to see and create views.

Thne I uninstall it from notebook, and dis the same excercise as I did it
above, but it is still not working on my machine.

Can any one tell how do I resolve this issue?

Hi Ashish,
I think your notebook is not included in company domain.You need to
include your notebook in your company domain.
