Failing report based on crosstab query.

I have a report that is based on a crosstab query. The
report fails to execute for specified time frames that do
not contain all possible entries that make up the columns
on the report. I get an error message that the database
engine does not recognize a field name or expression. Is
there a way to instruct Access to ignore the error and
print the report?

In your query goto properties and column heading and put
in all the column headings. This will stop the errors
however if your time frames are dynamic go to mvp website
they have some solutions.
