Failing to apply Office 2003 SP2

I have just got a new laptop and reinstalled my office 2003 Professional
from the network admin location. For some reason, all programs are SP2,
except OneNote that is version 11.5510.6568. The SP2 version I have on my
other PC is 11.6554.8107 (and it states specifically SP2).

I tried reinstalling - no avail. I also tried installing the OneNote 2003
SP2 update package, but the installation terminates with the message "This
update has already been applied", and nothing is changed. I also tried
applying the full Office 2003 SP2 update, and that one goes through well,
but OneNote remains unchanged.

My problem now is I can't read many of my notes. I get a message "This note
was created in a later version..."

Anyone can advise on how to force this update? Is there a setting in the
Registry that will "unlock" my OneNote to updating?

Hi, Jerry,

If you don't get an answer in this forum, try the microsoft.public.onenote
group. There may be folks there who are more familiar with how the patches
relate specifically to that product.
