failing to upgrade Visio to SP2 and Office to SP3

I own a copy of MS Office Prof. Enterprise edition 2003 and Visio Prof. 2003
and am trying unsuccessfuly to complete updates. Visio will not update,
neither will Office SP3 install. It wants a file PROPLUS.MSI. I have tried
the option whereby you ask for all the files to be downloaded and that
doesn't work either. I note that my Office CD has a file PRO11.MSI on it.

Can anyone help? The downloads take quite a while each time I try. This
situation does not seem to be covered at all in the on-screen stuff when one
is trying to do it.

Hi JonPock

"Proplus.msi" is the core data of the Installation CD of Office XP
Professional with FrontPage.
So if you have installed any Office Xp application (ex: Frontpage) uninstall
it.
This can also happen if you have installed Microsoft Works 8.0, that
installs Winword 2002.

One small detail...SP3 is not available for "MS Office Prof. Enterprise
edition 2003"
Make sure of what Office version you have installed :)
