Fails to recognize Works 9 to be able to use my Office Std to upgr

My new PC came with Works 9 - bought upgrade Office Std 2007 - it allows
for 3 personal computers in my house to upgrade.

My old upgraded but can not get my NEW PC to recognize it.. what can I do.

I do not understand your question. Only Office 2007 Home and Student allow
installation "for 3 personal computers in my house". Office Home and Student
does not have an upgrade version.

Office 2007 Standard retail allows installation on one computer plus one
portable device for use by the same person but not at the same time. Read
the EULA for specific details. The qualifying products for Office 2007
Standard upgrade at listed here;

The qualifying product does not need to be installed.
