Failure to update links on Project Server Database

I have a user who is not using Project Server and there is no WBS on his
Sharepoint site who gets this message "Project Server failed to update links
on the Project Server data base. Please try again later" 80% of the time
when he uploads documents to his sharepoint site. He gets the message and
the documents upload to the site. What causes this and how can I correct it?

Best regards

Sally:

Your question is confusing. If a user is updating a SharePoint Site related
to Project Server, then he/she is using Project Server. That person could
only get access to the site in one of two ways: 1) As an executive for the
company or as a resource on the project or 2) permissions set outside
Project Server directly into SharePoint or by virtue of being a domain
administrator or something like that. The error is more likely generated
because of backdoor use such as described in scenario two. The system is
telling you that the user doesn't have all the permissions necessary to take
every action they're taking.

Hi,

I have the same problem, and the user is an administrator. may be something
with SP2a?

I do not see any resolve on this issue, does anyone have any suggestions, I
(Administrator) am receiving the error along with regular users. We have done
nothing to change permissions, etc. and everything has been running fine.
