false non-activation message.

I own a bought copy of Office XP Standard v.2002.
After a computer change I loaded and activated the software.
Every time I open WORD I am told the software is not Validated because it
has not been Activated.
When I go into HELP and click on Activate, I get a message saying "This
Product Has Been Activated" (which it had been).

Can anyone help with this please?

I'm afraid you've wandered into the group for Word on the Mac, where we
don't have to deal with "Activation" I'm afraid we can't help you here.
