We use project professional for project managers and Project Web Access
for time sheet report and planning feedback by the teammembers. On the
homepage teammembers get a notification when they have not submitted
there time sheet. Sometimes the message "unsubmitt..." remaines on the
homepage although the employee has updated his timesheet with 30 hours.

When I use the function adjust actuals and change one day 8 hours in
8.1 hours the unsubmitted message disappears

One rootcause for this effect is when a team member add hours in the
timesheet. update. After that he adds hours and only uses the save
option

The SP1 is installed MS project professional 2003
(11.1.2004.1707.15)SP1
Internet Expl 6.0.2900.2180 SP2

Any idea ?

Rob:

When a resource adds hours to their timesheet, and saves without
submitting, is that not "an unsubmitted timesheet?" Turning off managed time
periods will make these messages go away altogether. With that said, if the
message is appearing when the resource has submitted a timesheet, then you
may be experiencing one of several fixed bugs in the system. You should have
SP1 installed. There are some post SP1 hotfixes, but we expect SP2 to be
released shortly.

Thank you for your help.
We do want to use managed periods. But in the meantime we got a fix
from microsoft. Used it for 2 weeks, it looks oke.
The SP2 should solve the problem also.
