False Rejection Error -18493 Mailbox is Full

P

PhilRich

I am running outlook via parallels and just installed Entourage. Both connect to an exchange 2000 server.

Someone sent me a huge email that hit my mailbox limit.

Now -whenever I send an email in Entourage - I get a message that says: "The message either exceeds the message size limitations or the recipient’s mailbox is full." This is regardless of whether or not I email within my company - or outside (a gmail address).

Outlook works fine - and I now have no limits on my mailbox (though there are global limits on exchange that the account limit should override).

I've deleted the account in Entourage - and rebuilt it. I've also deleted all of the content from my email box (or moved it to a PST file).

Any suggestions?

Try creating a new Identity and enter your account info. Even though you
deleted the account, it seems there is a problem in your database.

If that doesn't work then right-click your Exchange account and select
Folder Properties --> Storage. Do any of your folders report an
abnormally large size?
