Hi, does anyone have any suggestions for producing a simple but stylish family tree on powerpoint ? I have tried using the hierarchy templates but cannot get the boxes linked with a line, eg I cannot "marry" my grandparents ! Thankyou

Have you tried the connectors in the Drawing toolbar to connect shapes and "marry" your grandparents? ;-) I'm not sure if the connectors will work on shapes in the SmartArt diagrams, but it's worth a try.
