fatal error!! crashes when outlook opens!!!

I have made my outlook my default email program, in outlook and windows.
However, I still receive two error messages. They will not go a way. They say
1st: "Managed Mapi Service Castastropic failure (unknown error)"
2nd: "Either their is no default email client or the current mail client
cannot fullfill the messaging request. Please run microsoft office outlook
and set as your default client."
How do I resolve this from happening everytime I open the new microsoft
office outlook 2007 beta version. Any help quickly would be outstanding.

Do you have more than one version of Outlook installed on the

During install, outlook ask if i wanted to keep it or not. and i said yes.
but now 2003 does not open anymore, plus i get these errors on 2007beta.
I don't mind uninstalling 03 but i do not want to loose all my folders,
address book, and rules.

You can't have more than one version of Outlook. If you want to
continue to use Outlook 2003, that's okay, but don't install
Outlook 2007. You won't be able to use Word 2007 as your email
editor in Outlook 2003, because Word and Outlook must be the same
version for that feature to work.

How do i save my personal folders, address book and rules before I unistall 03
to see if that works. I would like use 2007 beta with no problems.

I uninstallled and reinstalled. I am still having the same issues.
How do i fix this?
