Fatal Error

I am using Outlook 2003, All of a suden when I create a message and
click on the Accounts button to select an account, I get the message:
Microsoft Office Word: Unable to complete the operation. A fatal error
has occurred in Outlook"

When I clic on OK, the error repeats, click on Ok again the error
dosesn's show again., However the Send/Receive button has vanished, I
can send or receive messages.

Also I noticed that when Outlook is loading the Send/Receive button
appears for a few seconds then it goes away,

I have tried almost everything:
-Repair Outlook
-Uninstall/Instrall MS Office
-Repair the PST file (it found errors)

Any suggestions on how fix the problem?

Still happens when Word is not your email editor?

If I don't use MS Word as the editor, when I click on the accounts
button, only the left half of the drop-down menu shows up.

I just realized that I had a typo in my original posting. It reads "I
can send or receive messages" it should read "I can't send or receive
messages"
